Queens Of The Stone Age performs latest single from upcoming 'Villains' album

The American rock band, Queens of the Stone Age, just performed a brand new track from their upcoming album "Villains." The performance was recorded at one of the band's concerts for their 2017 world tour. The track, titled "The Way You Used To Do," was performed at the Splendor In The Grass festival in Byron Bay, Australia to a throng of cheering fans.

The Palm Desert, California band is set to release their eighth album, which is a follow up to their "...Like Clockwork" album that was released back in 2013. The record is produced by Mark Ronson and is set to be released on Aug. 25. Those who want to reserve a slot can pre-order the album right now on the band's website.

A different sound

According to the band's frontman, Josh Homme, the upcoming album will be a fresh record that will be redefining their sound. The singer explained that artists need to continually evolve their music and those that just produce the same sound over and over again should just stop. The song itself does sound a bit different, but at the same time contains some of the more defining elements that the band is known for.
